Use performance

I. Introduction:
Ethylene acrylic acid copolymer (EAA) Ethylene Acrylic Acid is a thermoplastic and high viscous polymer, the crystallization of the polymer is suppressed due to the presence of carboxyl groups as well as the role of hydrogen bonding, and the main chain of the linear be destroyed, thus improving the transparency of the EAA and toughness, and reduces the melting point and the softening point.
When the MI of the same, with the increase in AA content EAA transparency, toughness, adhesion, resistance to environmental stress cracking resistance will increase; on the contrary, the transmittance of its rigidity, wet steam, creep resistance, chemical resistance will better.
When the AA content is the same, with the increase of MI, the EAA adhesive, workability will be better; on the contrary, its toughness, resistance to environmental stress cracking resistance will increase.

EAA is widely used in packaging, powder coating, adhesives, hot melt adhesives, sealing materials, water-based solvent, are briefly described below:
Packing: extrusion coating production of beverage cartons, toothpaste tubes, cable shield EAA also tear, puncture resistance, corrosion protection role;
2, powder coating: EAA powder can be sprayed on the surface of the pipe, steel, non-woven material, as a corrosion-resistant materials;
3, hot melt adhesive: high performance and high MI EAA can produce hot melt adhesive for difficult materials;
4, aqueous solvent: the high content of high-AA MI EAA under appropriate reaction conditions can be dissolved in a hot alkaline solution, the aqueous binder may be formulated for clothing lining;
Biodegradable materials: EAA and starch-based materials, blending can produce biodegradable plastic.
